For those of you who have never experienced a white elephant gift exchange, it is a fun filled event. Bring a wrapped or bagged item. Something you are re-gifting, something used you no longer want, something new, or just anything you please. We've had everything from upholstery supplies, a box of suckers, a bottle of wine, to a strip of lottery scratch offs. After you pick and open your present you can keep it or trade it with someone else. It is fun to see where it will end up. We have lots of laughs year after year.
The PUAM meetings are monthly meetings to support each other and to share upholstery knowledge. We’d love to have your input on topics you’d like to have discussed or presented on different upholstery techniques. It is easiest to show techniques in a shop environment but we are open to meeting in rooms provided by restaurants, libraries, community centers, etc. If you have a topic or location that we can use, please contact us at Diana Peltier at 651-257-2706. or dlsguenth@gmail.com.
